SGA: New Official Seal

Official Seal for the Student Government Association of Connecticut College

In order to more accurately and effectively represent the Student Government Association to the student body and the college community at large, I designed this official seal for our documents and affairs. The Latin words around the edge of the seal come from the Honor Code of Connecticut College: “… and thus, in manifold service, we will render our Alma Mater greater, worthier and more beautiful.” The last three adjectives are translated to Latin to reflect SGA’s commitment to making Connecticut College a better place.
The seal also incorporates graphic elements from the seal of Connecticut College, in the form of the open book icons at the lower edge. The wordmark identifies our organization directly with the institution. The quill and gavel represent the twin functions of SGA, as a legislative and a governing body.

Museum Insights: National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

Museum Insights worked with an architectural firm in planning the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. After receiving architectural blueprints, I created concise digital diagrams of the museum spaces, organized and labeled for clarity when included in the materials for the client.

Museum Insights: the Academy Museum

Museum Insights was hired to do a master plan for the upcoming Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. I created a graphical representation of the spatial allocations for different types of museum space, a sort of general conceptual floorplan. The diagram was included in the museum’s master plan.
